The challenge

When Bolletje had a look at their breakfast products from a shopper marketing perspective, the traditional Dutch brand came to an important insight. We should not so much so promote our products, but instead help Dutchmen have breakfast in a good and tasty manner. Where are the opportunities for growth and how to activate them if you note the breakfast and shopping behaviour?

Our solution

We looked together to find the most important insights, barriers and triggers with the Insights -> Activation Workshop. This then leads to the formulation of opportunities, which we translated into growth drivers for breakfast. We have shaped the growth drivers with icons and mood boards. We then tailor made activations for various retail formats designed to achieve real growth.

Bolletje maintains growth drivers as the strategic framework that not only gives direction to shopper communication and activities, but also to product development for example.
